  Happy Fall

  I recently started a new job which has put me in the best mood! I’m working in TV, which is a whole new world for me, and I love it! I’m learning new things and using parts of my brain that I ‘d forgotten about when I left college. It’s exciting and very different than my old job. In fact, it’s very nearly a career. It also offers more options for lunch and post work happy hours which is great! I love trying new places and Hollywood has plenty of them. 

  Fall has also brought some cool weather and a little bit of rain just to remind Southern California what seasons are like. I’ll be glad to have the sun back, but this week has been a little taste of the east coast living that I occasionally miss. It would only be made better if Southern Californians could learn how to drive better in the rain.

  Another happy change of pace is that I’ll be spending the next little while house sitting for friends, which means a place to myself for a while. It’s far more room than I need but I’ll be sure to take advantage of the space. First order of business is a dinner party for 10.

  In other news; vacation next week. I’ve planned a few busy days in Florida, full of family, old friends, wedding vows, baby showers and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

  Today I’m going to Disneyland with my mom! I tried to take her yesterday, but I drove an hour to Anaheim without the tickets. If that wasn’t disappointing enough, we drove back to Glendale and managed to forget them again! I’m blaming the sinus infection/allergies I’m having for making me feel like my brain is detached. I’m not even taking anything yet, and I’ve been in the clouds for the last 36 hours. I’m off to soccer, hoping the running will help me out. Then it’s time for a care free Sunday! Work, and a job interview tomorrow. I hope it works out, I’d love to try something new!
